Jeremy Hurst, 32, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:59 p.m on Monday, March 12, on Park Street and booked on Butler County warrants for failure to appear on possession of a controlled substance (bond $40,000).

An employee of JC Penney at 515 S. Westwood Blvd. reported at 5:43 p.m. on Monday, March 12, a male subject shoplifted at the business. There was a video of the incident.

Cheyanna Wheetley, 27, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:31 p.m. on Monday, March 12, during a traffic stop on Nooney Street. Wheetley was booked on a Poplar Bluff warrant for stealing and released on bond.

Ronald Burgess, 39, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:36 p.m. on Monday, March 12, during an investigation in the 1200 block of Velma Street. Burgess was booked on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on trespassing (bond $2,500) and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Natalie Burris, 22, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:39 p.m. on Monday, March 12, during a traffic stop on Mulberry Street. Burris was booked on a Sikeston warrant for failure to appear on traffic offenses (bond $436) and lodged in the Butler County jail.

A silver 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was towed at 2:47 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, from a traffic stop on Main Street after it was determined the vehicle was improperly registered and not insured. Michael Arnold, 56, of Broseley was issued traffic tickets and released at the scene.
