Carl Swafford

Carl Tillman Swafford, 73 of Fairdealing, Missouri, passed away, Feb. 29,2024 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 26, 1950, at Flatwoods, Missouri to the late George Leonard Swafford and Mary Luciele Gunter Swafford.

On April 25, 1970, at Oxly, Missouri, he was married to Janath Kay Cox. She survives.

He was a believer and had attended Pilgrims Rest Church in Fairdealing. He had served in the Missouri National Guard and enjoyed his children, growing tomatoes, fishing, and building things, He also enjoyed his pontoon boat and rock and roll music.

He is survived by his wife; and children, Stephanie McCabe of Overland Park, Kansas, T.G. Swafford, and wife, Kerri, of Fairdealing, Marissa Swafford of Belton, Missouri, and Rebecca Swafford of Fairdealing; also surviving are nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held starting at 2 p.m. April 25, 2024, in the Pilgrims Rest Church at Fairdealing, Missouri.
