Nathan Grogan was arrested during a traffic stop on Thursday, Feb. 15, for possession of a controlled substance. A passenger giving a false identity led to the discovery. The seized items will be sent to the lab at the Missouri Highway Patrol for positive identification.

Officers were dispatched on Thursday, Feb. 15, to the 100 block of Main Street to a report of property damage. Municipal Utilities stated the electrical wire to a building was cut and damaged. The cost to repair was approximately $1,000.

Officers responded on Thursday, Feb. 15, to Three Rivers College to a report of property damage. The victim stated all four tires on their vehicle were damaged by a sharp instrument. Contact was made with a witness, who gave a vehicle and suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.

A traffic stop was made on Thursday, Feb. 15, on a white Dodge Dart. During the stop it was discovered that the driver could not provide insurance on the vehicle. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Poplar Bluff Junior High School report on Thursday, Feb. 15, an incident of property damage. Employees discovered graffiti painted on an outbuilding of the school. Upon reviewing security cameras, the suspect has been identified.

Derek Darlington, no age or address provided, was taken into custody on Thursday, Feb. 15, in the 500 block of Ninth Street. Officers responded to the scene after threats were reportedly made against a person. After speaking with all parties and witnesses, Darlington was taken into custody and later lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched on Thursday, Feb. 15, to the AT&T store at 1210 N. Westwood Blvd. in reference to an unwanted guest causing a disturbance. The suspect was contacted and trespassed from the business.

Officers were dispatched on Thursday, Feb. 15, to J.C. Penny at 515 S. Westwood Blvd. in reference to shoplifting. Employees stated a suspect concealed several items and left the business without attempting to purchase them. The investigation is ongoing.

Randy May was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 15, at Walmart for domestic assault. Officers were dispatched to Ozark Physical Fitness at 2725 N. Westwood Blvd., where they made contact with the victim. After obtaining a statement, contact was made with May at Walmart, where he was taken into custody. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched on Thursday, Feb. 15, to the 1600 block of Wallace Street in reference to peace disturbance and property damage. The victim stated a neighbor was in her yard yelling and throwing items at her residence. A suspect was contacted and a probable cause affidavit will be sent to the Prosecuting Attorney seeking charges.

A traffic stop was made on Thursday, Feb. 15, on a silver Dodge Durango. During the stop it was discovered that the driver could not provide insurance on the vehicle. Due to no insurance the vehicle was towed from the scene. The driver was also issued other traffic citations.

Isaiah Johnson was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 15, on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant. Contact was made with Johnson during a follow-up investigation of a previous call. He was processed and lodged at the Butler County jail.
