Joshua McIrvin, 23, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:13 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, on Vincent Street. McIrvin was booked on a Probation and Parole warrant for a probation violation (no bond) and a Butler County warrant for a probation violation/possession of a controlled substance (bond $20,000). McIrvin was also booked on the charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jason McGee, 50, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:37 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, during a property damage investigation in the 200 block of East Pine Street. McGee was booked on Poplar Bluff Municipal warrants for failure to appear on stealing, resisting arrest, property damage, and trespassing (bond $3,500) and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jeffrey Pinkston, 50, of Poplar Bluff was booked at 4:17 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on property damage and littering (bond $750) and lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee of the Walmart Supercenter, 333 S. Westwood Blvd., reported at 4:55 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, there was a shoplifting at the store. There was video of the incident.

An employee of Chin, 929 S. Westwood Blvd., reported at 4:36 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, there was an assault and a theft at the business. A summons was mailed to the suspect.

Dennis Johnson, 55, of Poplar Bluff and Daniel Johnson, 51, of Poplar Bluff were arrested at 11:03 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, during a traffic stop on Broadway Street. Dennis Johnson was booked on a State of California warrant for a probation violation (no bond) and a traffic offense (bond $1,000). He was also booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on domestic assault (bond $100) along with the charge of false impersonation and, lodged in the Butler County jail. Daniel Johnson was booked on a Butler County warrant for probation violation/passing a bad check (bond $20,000) and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Caleb Scowden, 38, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, during a traffic stop on Pine Street. Scowden was booked on Poplar Bluff Municipal warrants for failure to appear on resisting arrest and peace disturbance (bond $1,000) and lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee of Casa Grande reported at 1:36 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, that a vehicle struck his truck while it was parked at the business. The other driver was later identified and there were no charges pursued.

Bessie Ruder, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:23 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, during an assault investigation in the 1500 block of Wilson Street. Ruder was booked on the charge of domestic assault second degree and lodged in the Butler County jail.
