Officers responded at 12:21 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 2400 block of Thomas Street.

Russell Rittenberry reported a burglary at his residence at 1:14 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, in the 2100 block of Arkansas. Rittenberry advised the suspect cut the lock on a storage shed and stole several vinyl records.

Dereck Darlington, 52, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, in the 500 block of South Ninth Street. Darlington was booked on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on resisting arrest ($5,000) along with additional charges for resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. Darlington was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Emily Ollis, 22, of Poplar Bluff and Miguel Ventura, 46, of Poplar Bluff were arrested at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, during an assault investigation on Bartlett Street. Both Ollis and Ventura were booked on the charges of third degree domestic assault and were lodged in the Butler County jail.
