A juvenile victim reported at 1:41 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, that Jan. 19 she was at a friend’s residence on Main Street when a Black male suspect flourished a pistol and demanded for them to get on the ground and give them their money. After not complying with the suspect’s demands, another suspect dropped an additional gun from his pants while fleeing from the residence. There were no injuries reported and nothing was taken.

The police department asks the public to exercise caution when responding to such emails, and any request to send money by gift card should be considered fraudulent until proven otherwise.

Youngblood was booked in on a Butler County warrant for probation violation ($20,000 cash-only bond) and a charge of resisting arrest, and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 4:32 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, to an alarm at East Side Pharmacy at 400 East Pine Street. Officers found that entry had been gained by cutting through the metal siding, and a keyholder confirmed prescription medications had been stolen from a cabinet.
