Latara Jackson, 36, of Broseley was arrested at 1:55 p.m. Monday, Dec. 25, during a traffic stop on Valley Street. Jackson was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance.

Officers responded at 3:11 p.m. Monday, Dec. 25, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 800 block of Kinzer Street. No injury was reported and no neither party wanted to file a complaint.

Annette Knowles reported at 3:34 p.m. Monday, Dec. 25, the apartment building at 432 Highway 53 was damaged when someone started a fire behind the building several days prior. Another resident reportedly extinguished the fire.

Arthur Ward, 53, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Monday, Dec. 25, on West Henry Street. Ward was booked on charges of third-degree assault and tampering with a victim. He was held at the Butler County jail.
