An employee at Poplar Bluff Junior High School reported at 7:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, a juvenile student confronted another student in the hallway and threatened them with a pencil. This matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Officers responded at 12:26 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of North G Street. Both participants said the other assaulted them, but neither wanted to press charges.

Rytreveon Ingram, 22, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 3:01 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Hillcrest Pool. Ingram was booked on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on reckless burning or exploding and held at the Butler County jail.

An employee at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Behavioral Health Unit reported at 3:17 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, a patient threatened violence against other patients as they were discharged earlier that day.

Terry Miles reported at 3:46 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, the rear hatch of his vehicle was damaged while it was parked at his residence in the 1900 block of Garfield Street.

Officers responded at 4:43 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, to a disturbance in front of a residence in the 700 block of Lester Street. A group of adults and children reportedly came to the residence to confront another child following a fight at a bus stop. A parent at the residence produced a handgun, but said she brought it to protect her child; and she said she held it in a safe direction and never pointed it at anyone.

Lisa Samonte reported at 6:13 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, her car was struck by a gold van at the intersection of Harper and North 11th streets. The van left the scene.

Diana Summers, 48, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 6:34 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Summers was booked on charges of stealing and possession of drug paraphernalia and released pending review by the Butler County prosecutor.

Anthony Burton complained at 10:02 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, that he returned to his residence in the 500 block of Arthur Street to find an adult female acquaintance preparing food in the kitchen. The suspect left before the police were called.

The police department received an anonymous report at 10:35 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, that an ATM on Highway 53 had been vandalized.

Officers responded at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1900 block of South 11th Street. No injury was reported and no charges were filed.

Melissa Moore reported at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, her adult stepdaughter assaulted her at their residence in the 1100 block of Bradley Street. The suspect left before the police were called, and Moore did not want to press charges.

Officers responded at 7:55 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, to a report of shots fired in the 1100 block of Nooney Street. No injury or property damage were reported.

Officers responded at 2:23 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 2300 block of Perkins Drive. No injury was reported and no charges were filed.

Officers responded at 2:35 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, to a domestic assault at a residence in the 200 block of Hampton Court. An adult female reportedly assaulted an adult male during an argument at the residence. The victim did not want to press charges at the time of the report.

A man reported at 8:13 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, someone damaged the steering column of his vehicle while it was parked in the 1900 block of Garfield Street.

The police department received a report at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, that a message threatening violence at Poplar Bluff Junior High was posted to social media. The investigation determined the threat was a hoax and was posted by a student previously suspended for posting a similar threat.

Pilar Hopper reported at 1:23 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, her estranged husband approached her at Midland Church at 110 W. Victor St. in violation of an order of protection.

Maria Stenger reported at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, the rear license plate was missing from her vehicle.

Edward Tritt reported at 1:40 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, a rifle and a shotgun were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at his residence in the 500 block of North Fifth Street.

Deborah Remagen, 24, of Doniphan was arrested at 3:33 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, during the investigation of a shoplifting complaint at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Remagen was booked on a charge of first-degree burglary, a Clay County warrant for failure to appear on possession of a controlled substance and a Cass County warrant for failure to appear on trafficking drugs. She was held at the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 6:34 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, to a residence in the 1100 block of Spring Street for an adult male suffering a mental health crisis. The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital for evaluation.

Corey Vallance, 21, of Knobel, Arkansas, and Dalton Nelson, 28, of Poplar Bluff were arrested at 7:12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, during a traffic stop on South 11th Street. Vallance was booked on a charge of resisting arrest and held at the Butler County jail, while Nelson was booked on a Probation and Parole warrant for a parole violation and a Barry County warrant for probation violation and also held at the Butler County jail.
