BROSELEY — Two men were seriously injured in an ATV accident at 5:40 p.m. Saturday on County Road 629, one mile north of Broseley.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tyler R. Cowan, 22, of Broseley was operating a 2023 Can-Am Maverick eastbound when it began skidding and sliding, then overturned.
Cowan was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, while a passenger, Joshua B. Sullivan, 22, of Poplar Bluff, was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
At 6:17 p.m., Cowan was arrested in Butler County on suspicion of felony DWI (alcohol) involving serious injury. He was released for medical treatment.
