Dennis Taylor

Dennis Alton Taylor, 72, of Stringtown, Missouri passed away July 11, 2023, at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri.

Dennis was born May 29, 1951, to Willie and Veda Minehart Taylor in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He married Mary (Gutterman) Dec. 23, 1978, in Stringtown. Dennis was a hardworking man that made a career of 30 years with Revere Plastics. He loved spending time on the farm with the cattle, eating lunch with his “store family” and most of all spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his hunny bunny. Dennis never met a stranger and will be missed by all his friends and family.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife; three children: Greg Taylor, John (Ashley) Taylor, and Jolene (John) Sloan; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one brother, Wayne (Pat) Taylor.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Dennis Jr.; three sisters; Jean Grubbs, Virginia Hillyard, and Barbara Cecil.

Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m, Friday, July 14, 2023, with the funeral service immediately following at Kern’s Chapel in Poplar Bluff. Burial will be at Kern’s Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Moses Tipton officiating.
