Brandon Jenkins, 27, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:48 a.m. Monday, June 5, during a traffic stop on West Pine Boulevard. Jenkins was booked in on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and he was released pending review by the Butler County prosecutor.

An employee of Walgreens, 110 N. Westwood Blvd., reported at 12:25 p.m. Monday, June 5, a customer hid merchandise in her purse. The customer returned the stolen property and she was banned from the premises. The store did not press charges.

An employee at Ozark Medical Supplies, 2725 N. Westwood Blvd., reported at 2:15 p.m., Monday, June 5, someone stole cash and a debit card from the office.

Anthony “Tony” Roth, 28, of Poplar Bluff was detained at 3:12 p.m. Monday, June 5, after he was caught shoplifting at Walmart Supercenter, 333 South Westwood Blvd. The stolen property was recovered, and Roth was released with a criminal summons for stealing.

An employee at RNR Tire Express reported at 3:15 p.m. Monday, June 5, a customer threatened staff after they repossessed rented tires from his vehicle.

Rhonda Clayton reported at 6:52 p.m. Monday, June 5, two credit cards were stolen and used for fraudulent transactions while she was working at Gates Corporation at 1650 Rowe Pkwy.

Brandon Kirk reported at 9:36 p.m., Monday, June 5, a pistol was stolen from his car while it was parked at his residence in the 1600 block of Cross Street.

Gregory Thomas, 42, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:31 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, at his residence in the 1000 block of Tremont Street. Thomas was booked in on charges of domestic assault 3rd degree and possession of amphetamine. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Donald Gordon and Madeline Noble reported at 3:03 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, someone opened a window at their residence in the 900 block of Henderson Street, knocked over a dresser, and damaged a television.
