On 8:43 a.m. Monday, May 1, Lesa Ojeifo reported she lost a $100 bill on April 29.

On 9:17 a.m. Monday, May 1, an employee at Poplar Bluff High School reported alcohol and a THC vaping device were found in a juvenile student’s possession. The alcohol was discarded, and the THC vaping device was seized and placed into evidence. This matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

On 10:48 a.m. Monday, May 1, a wallet found in the 700 block of Mill Street was turned in to the police. Efforts to contact the owner failed and it was placed into evidence until the owner is located.

On 11:27 a.m. Monday, May 1, Donald and Dianna Lotshaw reported a red 2007 Ford pickup backed into their vehicle while it was parked in the lot at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center parking lot at 3100 Oak Grove Rd. The pickup fled the scene.

On 2:12 p.m. Monday, May 1, an employee at Silverline Trailers at 1805 Speedway Dr. reported a trailer was missing from their lot.

On 2:16 p.m. Monday, May 1, an employee at McCoy’s Scrap Metal reported windows were broken out of equipment parked on Wiseman Drive.

Jason Findley, 42, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 4:21 p.m. Monday, May 1, at a residence in the 300 block of South 11th Street. Findley was booked on charges of leaving the scene of an accident and driving while suspended and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

On 5:41 p.m. Monday, May 1, Jacob Leezer reported a pistol was stolen from his truck while it was parked at his residence in the 1100 block of Spring Street.

On 6:15 p.m. Monday, May 1, Bruce Peterson reported a delivery truck struck an awning at his apartment complex in the 1100 block of Davis Street and left the scene.

Victor Reel, 34, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 6:58 p.m. Monday, May 1, at his residence in the 300 block of Victor Street. Reel was booked on a charge of misusing 911 and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Amie Parks, 35, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. Monday, May 2, at Jay’s Corner Store at 1040 S. Broadway. Parks was booked on a charge of trespassing and she was released pending review by the Butler County Prosecutor.
