An employee at the Poplar Bluff Public Library reported at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, a white male damaged a surveillance camera on the front of the library.

Ashley Scott reported at 4:39 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, her children were bitten by a stray dog in the 1500 block of Truman Street. The dog was caught and transported to the animal control shelter for rabies observation, according to the report.

Keith Martin, 39, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:38 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, on Spruce Street. Martin was booked in on a warrant for a parole violation with no bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, to a structure fire in the 400 block of Spruce Street. An investigator with the Missouri fire marshal’s office responded to examine the scene.
