Permits were issued in April by the city of Poplar Bluff for an estimated $254,000 worth of commercial and residential remodels and renovations. A total of 13 permits were issued, according to the Poplar Bluff Planning Department.
This included 11 for residential additions and remodels valued at a total $127,500.
A permit was issued for one new garage, valued at $7.500.
One permit, with work valued at $119,000, was also issued for a commercial addition/remodel.
Another 63 permits were issued relating to various construction licenses and permits, including 14 building permits, 14 electrical permits, nine occupancy permits and eight plumbing permits. The fees collected were approximately $2,400.
