An employee at Poplar Bluff High School reported at 9:47 a.m. March 30, a juvenile student threatened to assault a staff member. The student left school with a parent. This matter was referred to the juvenile office.

Bryan Cooper, 47, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:22 p.m. March 30 on North Main Street. Cooper was booked in on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses with a $1,250 bond. Cooper was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jimmy Zimmerman, 46, and David Wise, 32, both of Poplar Bluff, were arrested March 30 during a traffic stop on Highway 142. Zimmerman was booked in on a Dunklin County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender with a $5,000 bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail. Wise was booked in on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses with a $300 bond. Wise was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.

Travis Mangrum, 43, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:03 a.m. March 30 during a traffic stop on North Main Street. Mangrum was booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense with a $100 bond. Mangrum was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.
