Rev. Frank Gunter

Rev. Frank Everett Gunter, 82, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away March 11, 2023 at General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri.

Frank was born on July 19, 1940 to Van and Janie E. Gunter in Rives, Missouri. He married Betty Gunter, who preceded him in death.

Frank was a pastor on KOKS Radio 89.5 FM in Poplar Bluff. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

Frank is survived by children: Karen Eder, Randall and Micheal Duty; granddaughters: Kristi Branscum (Jeremy), Kadi Weaver (Rick); great-grandchildren: Shawn Toole and Major Dean.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; son, Earnest Duty; great-grandson, Kyle Weaver.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11m a.m.-noon Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Cornerstone Tabernacle Church, 3516 N. Westwood Blvd., Poplar Bluff. The memorial service will begin at noon.

Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff are in charge of arrangements.
