Dustin Hayes, 25, of Poplar Bluff was arrested 12:50 p.m. on Feb. 3, Vaden Street at North Fifth Street. Hayes was booked in on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Zachary Pettigrew reported at 1:04 p.m. Feb. 3, his residence in the 500 block of South Eighth Street had been burglarized.

Rose Varner, 36, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 3:44 p.m. Feb. 3, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Varner was booked in on charges of stealing and possession of drug paraphernalia and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers respondedat 5:07 p.m. Feb. 3, to an injury accident on North Westwood Boulevard at Barron Road. The driver of one vehicle was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. A white Chevrolet truck fled the scene.

Kollin Love reported at 11:32 p.m. Feb. 3, his pistol was stolen from a vehicle parked at Westwood Billiards at 2207 South Westwood Boulevard.

Cassandra Miller, 38, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested 8:38 a.m. Feb. 4, during a traffic stop on North Westwood Boulevard. Miller was booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on no insurance with a $500 bond. Miller was unable to post bond and she was released on her own recognizance.

Bridgett Cannon, 56, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested during a traffic stop on Garfield Street. Cannon was booked in on a Butler County warrant for probation violation with a $20,000 cash only bond and a Poplar Bluff Municipal warrant for failure to appear on charges of stealing with a $250 bond. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

An adult female reported at 10:07 a.m. Feb. 4, a her ex-husband broke into her residence in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive, pushed her down and stole her cell phone and cell phones which belonged to their children. He left the scene before she contacted the police.

An adult male reported at 10:09 a.m. Feb. 4, a he was seriously injured while he and a juvenile male were shooting one another with high power pellet guns. The adult male was transported to St Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

A juvenile female reported at 10:41 a.m. Feb. 4, she was involved in a traffic accident on North Westwood Boulevard at W Hwy. She said the other driver threatened her, took her insurance card, and left the scene.

Justin Ward reported at 11:21 a.m. Feb. 4, his vehicle was struck by a black Toyota passenger vehicle while it was parked on the lot at Mansion Mall in the 1300 block of North Westwood Boulevard.

A blue Ford passenger vehicle was impounded from a traffic stop on North Main Street at 4:20 p.m. Feb. 4, after it was determined the driver’s license was revoked and the vehicle was not insured. The driver was released at the scene and traffic citations were mailed to their address.

A black Chevrolet truck was found at 5:05 p.m. Feb. 4, abandoned in the roadway on North 12th Street at West Maud Street. Efforts to contact the owner failed and the truck was impounded and towed from the scene.

Tristen Campbell reported at 7:19 p.m. Feb. 4, two Apple air tags were missing from his vehicle. Campbell suspected an ex-girlfriend still had them.

Quinton Bruce, 34, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 11:49 a.m. Feb. 4, at a residence in the 2000 block of Thomas Street. Bruce was booked in on a charge of violation of a protection order and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jessica Chaney, 35, of New Madrid, was arrested at 12:41 p.m. Feb. 5, during a traffic stop on Woodrow Street. Chaney was booked in on a Butler County warrant for possession of a controlled substance with a $25,000 bond, a Stoddard County warrant for failure to appear on dangerous drugs with a $5,000 bond and a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on stealing and a traffic violation with a $532 bond. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

A maroon Chevrolet Impala was impounded and towed during a traffic stop on Mary Street after it was determined the vehicle was not insured. The driver was released at the scene and a traffic citation for no proof of insurance was mailed to their residence.

Alisha Keirns, 21, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 4:51 p.m. Feb. 5, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Keirns was booked in on a charge of first degree burglary and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 7:35 p.m. Feb. 5, to a residence in the 1100 block of North Mail Street for a drug overdose. The victim was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Kevin Hawkins reported at 8:50 p.m. Feb. 5, a family member was arrested in Shannon County. At the time of the arrest the family member had a pistol which Hawkins said was stolen from his residence in the 1000 block of Franklin Street. This matter was referred to the Butler County Prosecutor.

Angelina Sansoucie, 40, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested during a traffic stop on Sunset Drive. Sansoucie was booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on no insurance $500 bond. Sansoucie was unable to post bond and she was released on her own recognizance.

An employee at Jay’s Corner Store at 1040 South Broadway reported On at 10:20 p.m. Feb. 6, a patron flourished a handgun during a confrontation outside the building.

Guy Elonzo-Eugene Winn, 63, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. Feb. 6, during a traffic stop on Kinzer Street after it was determined the truck he drove was reported stolen in Dunklin County. Winn was booked in on charges of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle and driving while revoked and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.
