An adult female reported at 7:39 p.m. Jan. 13, she was assaulted by an adult male at their residence in the 700 block of Nickey Street. A criminal summons for assault was mailed to the suspect.

Adam Novak reported at 8:36 a.m. Jan. 14, his white 2018 BMW was stolen from the parking lot at Holiday Inn at 2781 N. Westwood Blvd. Novak later reported fraudulent charges had been made to his debit card.

Robert Rasmussen, 27, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 11:12 a.m. Jan. 14, on Lester Street. Rasmussen was booked in on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on stealing charges and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Curry Brawley, 33, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 12:47 p.m. Jan. 14, at a residence in the 2900 block of Oakmoore Drive. Brawley was booked in on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on charges of resisting arrest with a $100 bond, a Butler County warrant for third degree aggravated domestic assault with a $25,000 bond and a Carter County warrant for dangerous drugs with a $10,000 cash only bond. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Michael Sobelman reported at 1:34 p.m. Jan. 14, the license plates were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at Rushin’s Wrecker Service at 1813 S. Broadway.

Martha Gonzales, 34, of Corning, Arkansas, was arrested at 3:58 p.m. Jan. 14, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Gonzales was booked in on a charge of stealing and she was released on criminal summons.

An employee at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Behavioral Health Unit at 2620 N. Westwood Blvd reported at 4:18 a.m. on Jan. 14, she was assaulted by a Pemiscot County Jail inmate who had been court-ordered to the facility. The inmate stole her ID badge and escaped the facility on foot.
Kenneth Dye, 30, of Kennett, was later found walking on West Maud Street and he was taken into custody without incident. Dye was transported to Dunklin County and was released to a Dunklin County Deputy Sheriff. This matter was referred to the Butler County Prosecutor for review of charges.

An employee at Home Depot at 636 S. Westwood Blvd. reported on Jan. 14, a white male stole drills from a display case on more than one occasion. The suspect was identified from surveillance video footage, and he was banned from the store.

Carmen Gutierrez, 27, of Iola, Kansas was arrested at 8:04 p.m. Jan. 14, during the investigation of an accident. Gutierrez was booked on charges of Leaving the scene of an accident with physical injury, assault second degree, and DWI resulting in physical injury. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Dennis Campbell, 44, of Poplar Bluff ran from the scene of a traffic stop at 11:05 p.m. Jan. 14 on East Pine Street and escaped. At the time of the stop, Campbell had an outstanding warrant for parole violation. Anyone with information regarding Campbell’s whereabouts is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.

Roy Moring, 37, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:38 a.m. Jan. 15, at his residence in the 2300 block of Kentucky Avenue. Moring was booked in on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of aggravated assault with a $100,000 cash only bond and Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on property damage and domestic assault with $200 bond. Moring was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Elliott Vandergriff, 28, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:53 a.m. Jan. 15, at Mike’s Resale gaming facility at 1015 East Harper St. Vandergriff was booked in on a Butler County warrant for dangerous drugs with $10,000 bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Darion Kinder, 26, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:01 p.m. Jan. 15 on North 12th Street. Kinder was booked on Butler County warrants for failure to appear on possession of heroin and stealing with $31,000 bond. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Kasondra Garrett reported at 3:51 p.m. Jan. 15, a stereo was stolen from her residence in the 900 block of West Spring Street.

A juvenile male was detained at 7:28 p.m. Jan. 15 after a juvenile female said he struck her in the face and exposed his genitals to her in the 2300 block of Kentucky Avenue. The juvenile suspect was released to a family member and the matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Jamie Pullum, 38, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:11 p.m. Jan. 15 during a traffic stop on West Pine Street. Pullum was booked on a charge of possession of amphetamine and she was released pending review by the Prosecutor.

A silver Chevrolet Impala was found blocking the roadway in the 600 block of Lester Street at 10:50 p.m. Jan. 15. Efforts to contact the registered owner were unsuccessful and the vehicle was impounded and towed from the scene.

Jessica Sperling, 30, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:21 a.m. Jan 16, during a traffic stop on North Sixth Street. Sperling was booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on driving without a license with $100 bond and a Butler County warrant for probation violation with $5,000 bond. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.
