Thelma Mae Brown, 86, entered her rest on Jan. 21, 2023. A lifelong believer in Jesus, an advocate for the rights and needs of the disabled, a person who loved and was loved by her family, a maker, and a traveler,
Ms. Brown leaves behind a sibling, Linda Alexander of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three sons, Jay D. Brown and Shawn Brown of Poplar Bluff, and Nicholas Brown (Mary) of Jackson, Missouri; a daughter, Kimberly Carter (Cole) of Nashville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Ralph Robison of Poplar Bluff, and eight siblings: Clarence Robison, Paul Robison, John Robison, Faye Gulley, Gladys Inman, Peggy Palmer, Lela Reynolds, and Lena Robison.
A memorial service is planned for March 4, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Jackson Church of Christ. The family requests prayers at this time and suggests gifts of support be made to the Jackson, Missouri Church of Christ in lieu of flowers.
