Sarah Kubus, Julie Spencer and Terri Whitten have been named Top Listers for November at Century 21 American Realty.
Kubus was born and raised in Poplar Bluff. She graduated from PBHS, attended Truman State University, and went on to earn a master’s degree in teaching, later returning to teach at the Poplar Bluff school district before going into real estate.
Sarah and her husband, Dan, purchased their own home in Poplar Bluff in May 2020, where they take care of their four children and a kitten.
Spencer has been a real estate agent since licensed in November 1998. She worked for Re/Max for over 14 years and earned the Re/Max Executive Club, President’s Club, 100% Club and Re/Max Hall of Fame Award.
Spencer earned her CRS and GRI designations.
Spencer currently is serving on the Three Rivers Board of Realtors as R-PAC chairman.
Spencer has three children, Chris Griffin and wife, Heidi, Samantha Spencer Armes and husband, Justin, all of Jonesboro, Ark.; and Derek Spencer, an assistant attorney general in the Kansas City office. Spencer has five grandchildren, Allison and Jessica Griffin, Spencer James, and Emersyn and Harper Armes, all of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Whitten has been selling real estate since 2009 and has been the Top Lister and Producer for the past five years with her former companies. She has earned Gold, Silver and Platinum Level Awards for the past eight years.
Her achievements include Top Producer in 2011, Top Lister for 2013, and Top Producer for 2016, and Top Lister and Producer for 2015 and ’17.
She has earned the GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), and the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) and SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) to assist buyers and sellers. Whitten received the 2019 Commitment to Excellence designation from the National Association of Realtors.
She is married to Dan Whitten, who is a retired registered nurse. Together they have one son, Dustin, and his wife, Meagan (Stucker), and their daughter, Kaylee May.
