An employee at Menards reported at 8:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, a handgun was found in a furniture display at the store. The weapon had been reported missing by a customer, and it was returned to the owner at the police station.

An employee at Prairie Farms Dairy, 2601 Merva St., reported at 8:26 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, a catalytic converter was stolen from a truck.

An employee at Walmart Supercenter reported at 10:23 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, a white male stole a bicycle and other items of merchandise. The white male fled on the bicycle, and was captured in the 100 block of North Westwood Blvd. The white male told the arresting officers he had swallowed fentanyl then passed out. He was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Nancy Lourance reported at 8:34 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, the storm door glass was damaged at her residence in the 1700 block of Kentucky Avenue.

Kenneth Duckett was arrested at 12:15 a.m. during Tuesday, Sept. 20, a traffic stop on Pine Street anded booked in on a Poplar Bluff Municipal warrant for failure to appear on no insurance. Duckett was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.

A wallet found Tuesday, Sept. 20, on South Westwood Blvd was turned in at the front desk of the police station.
