Wilma L. Juergens, 71, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at her home.
Wilma was born Aug. 28, 1951, to Leonard and Lucy (Helm) Rickman in Greenville, Missouri. She married Jim Juergens Nov. 22, 1986, in Poplar Bluff.
Wilma was a graduate of Greenville High School. She spent 11 years with Jim during his career in the Navy. They traveled around the world together. Her favorite place they lived was Hong-Kong. After they returned to Poplar Bluff, Wilma worked at Briggs & Stratton where she later retired. Wilma was a member of the VFW Auxiliary for about seven years. She was an outstanding cook and loved to share her food with others. In her spare time, she liked to complete puzzles or read a good book. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Wilma is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Lorna (Jimmy) Brannum; son, Buckly (Misty) Nunn; two brothers, Carl (Judy) Rickman and Dale (Dale) Rickman; two sisters, Carol (Bobby) Walker and Peggy (Chuck) Allen; five grandchildren, Billy Brannum, Ryan (Katie) Brannum, Kaelie (Kyle) Myrick, Zack Nunn, and Amber Nunn; two great-grandchildren, Kamden and Kole Myrick.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, David, and Wayne Rickman
No services will be held at this time. Wilma will be laid to rest at her family cemetery.
