Glenda Faye (Stucker) Talcott, 84, a life-long resident of Poplar Bluff completed her earthly journey Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, and was welcomed into Heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Glenda was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Poplar Bluff to John and Mildred (Casey) Stucker. She was of the Baptist faith and had retired from K-Mart after 20 years of service. She enjoyed going out to lunch with her friends, reading, crossword puzzles and watching game shows. Glenda’s most treasured moments were spending time with her children.
Survivors include five children, Ricky Talcott, Theresa (Terry) Tolliver, Jane (Jerry) McNamee, John (Margie) Talcott and Susie Talcott; a brother Clifford Stucker; six grandchildren, Richard (Tracy) Talcott, Christy (Shawn) Alexander, Rebecca (Eric) McElrath, Nick McNamee (Andrea Berry), Levi Hart and Preston Talcott; and six great-grandchildren, Adam Talcott, Carley Martin, Cassie Martin, JoLeah McElrath, Zoey Talcott and Graylin McNamee.
Visitation will begin at noon Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral Chapel, with the funeral service following at 1 pm. The Rev. Schremp will officiate. Burial will follow at New Oak Hill Cemetery off O Highway. Immediately following burial refreshments will be served at New Oak Hill General Baptist Church.
