Josh Miller announced today he was eliminated from the Rinehart 3D World Archery Championship after a day of shooting in brutal conditions.

“Today was a tough day to swallow. We shot in pouring rain, high winds, and lightning. I fell short in eliminations, but I am humbled to make it as far as I have being a small town guy with big time dreams. It truly was a dream come true being able to represent my country on the big stage," Miller wrote in his latest update. "I can’t thank you all enough for all the support you’ve given me throughout this journey. Special thanks to Alex Melnik for the jersey swap and I wish you the best for the remainder of your journey here in Italy! With all this being said I’m excited to watch and cheer on the sideline for the rest of team USA as we still have a handful of participants working their way to the top. Go Team USA!”

Miller's teammate Kenneth Jordan was also eliminated. Shiloh Butts, their third men's longbow division teammate, has made the semifinals. Tomorrow's shooting will determine whether he competes for gold or bronze.

Miller hails from Poplar Bluff. He has been delivering exclusive updates on the competition to the Daily American Republic. More information on the competition is available at 3dworldarchery2022.it.
