Paul Gordon “Gordie” Haislip, 77, of Fisk, Missouri, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022 at his residence in Fisk.
Mr. Haislip was born Dec. 25, 1944 in Fisk, son of the late James Edward and Ruby Haislip. He had served in the Army during the Korean War. He was retired from Ford Motor Company. He attended Walnut Grove General Baptist Church.
On Sept. 21, 1968 he married Phyllis Burris. She survives.
Also surviving are one son: John Haislip of Fisk; two daughters: Rebecca Brandt and husband Scott of Warrensburg, Missouri, and Amy Kim of Las Vegas, Nevada; three grandchildren: Connor and Liam Haislip, and Zoey Kim; one brother: James Aaron Haislip of Saint Louis, Missouri; and one sister: Jean Ford of Lindseyville, Kentucky,
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Robert “Bobby” Haislip.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022 at White Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday in the funeral home chapel with Joe Dunivan officiating. Burial will be in Shain Memorial Cemetery at Fisk.
