Opal Lee Richmond, 86, of Fairdealing, Missouri passed away, Aug. 19. 2022 at her residence.
She was born Feb. 9, 1936 at Calm, Missouri to the late Charlie Toothman and Mary “Toothman” Davis.
On March 19, 1952, she was married to Jonathan Watson Robert Richmond at Pocahontas, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2009.
She is survived by one son, Charles “C.J.” Richmond and Sherry of Doniphan, Missouri; five daughters, Donna Walker and husband, David, of Fairdealing, Nancy Bender and Brenda West and husband, Joe, all of Naylor, Missouri, Patricia Hays and husband, Bradley, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Roberta Willcut and husband, Kenny, of Stockton, Missouri. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents as well as one brother, Charles Toothman and two sisters, Sharron Jett and Judith Wright.
She attended the Palace of Praise at Poplar Bluff, Missouri and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts, fishing, reading her Bible and church. She loved spending time with her family.
Visitation for Mrs. Richmond started at 5 p.m.. Monday, Aug. 22, 2022. The funeral will start at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022, all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home at Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Logan Creek Cemetery near Doniphan. Kenny Willcut officiating.
