Beverly Frances Hardin of Qulin, Missouri succumbed to her diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia and passed away peacefully at Brookdale Leawood Stateline Memory Care Facility in Leawood, Kansas on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022.
Beverly was born on Oct. 6, 1943 to Charles and Erna Johnson of Poplar Bluff. She married Daryl J. Hardin of Qulin on May 1, 1965. He survives.
Beverly graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1961 where she enjoyed being a majorette for the Mules Marching Band. Post-graduation she began working for Bank of Poplar Bluff and continued working as a teller, retiring in 2005. Beverly was known for her patience and kindness, especially assisting long time customers with their banking needs. During her retirement she delighted in spending time with her three sisters, quilting, antiquing, gardening, and garage sales. But spending time with her six grandchildren and her two daughters brought her the most joy of all.
Beverly was preceded in death by both parents, her brother Richard Johnson, sister Barbara Williams, and two sisters who died during infancy, Erna Charlene and Elizabeth Jean.
She is survived by her daughters Amy Shell (Sean) of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Heather Lancaster (Tom) of Leawood, Kansas, six grandchildren Andrew (23), Paige (19), Peyton (17), Alysen (17), Alex (16), and Ava (13), Her two surviving sisters include Sue Scott of Poplar Bluff and Donna Allen of Dudley, Missouri. She remained very close with her sister-in-law, Alberta Hardin, of Qulin and her dear friend Evelyn McCallister of Broseley, Missouri for approximately the last six decades.
