Kathy Lynn Williamson, 56, of Broseley, Missouri, died Monday, July 25, 2022, at Southeast Missouri Hospital, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Mrs. Williamson was born Oct. 18, 1965, in Hayti, Missouri to Bobby and Dottie Rice. She was a devout Christian woman who loved the Lord more than anything. She had been a member of Black River General Baptist Church since 2016. She enjoyed quilting and sewing in her spare time. Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
On Nov. 18, 1984, she married Charles Williamson. He survives.
Also surviving is her mother: Dottie Rice of Poplar Bluff; three children: Misty Williams of Bernie, Missouri, Casey (James) Luck of Bloomfield, Missouri, and Kelly Williamson, Broseley; four grandchildren: Zackery, Allison, Kylie, Kendall; two brothers: Scott (Aracelia Monserrate) Rice of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Tommy (Brenda) Rice of Poplar Bluff.
She was preceded in death by her father: Bobby Rice; two grandchildren: Hannah and Remington; and one sister: Penny Rice.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Black River General Baptist Church in Broseley. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the church sanctuary with Rev. Greg Rodgers and Rev. Wayne Burchett officiating. Burial will be in Mole Hill Cemetery at Broseley.
