A man reported at 1:12 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, his truck was struck by another vehicle while it was parked on the lot at the License Bureau at 2509 Three Rivers Blvd. The other vehicle left the scene.

A woman reported at 3:12 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, a white male acquaintance damaged her air conditioner at her residence in the 800 block of Hart Street. The investigation continues.

Officers responded at 9:18 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, to a residence in the 2200 block of Maud Street for a domestic assault. A male reported he was struck in the face several times by a juvenile family member. He was transported from the scene by EMS.

A woman reported at 11:11 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, she was robbed at gunpoint at her residence in the 400 block of North Main Street. She said two black males entered the residence, flourished handguns, and demanded money. The suspects left with a small amount of cash. The investigation continues.

A man reported at 7:58 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, his wallet was taken from his vehicle while it was parked on the Walmart Neighborhood Market lot.

A woman reported at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, a white female tried to break into a shed behind her residence in the 900 block of Delano. Kimberly Kleiss, 55, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at the scene. She was booked on a charge of property damage, and she was lodged at the Butler County jail.

A woman reported at 3:59 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, three people had entered a vacant house she owned in the 900 block of Mary Street. When officers contacted the suspects, property taken from the house was found in their bags. Curtis Hesslrode Sr., 42, of Poplar Bluff, Sandra Pennington, 40, of Poplar Bluff, and James Conner, 31, of Poplar Bluff were booked in on charges of second degree burglary and felony stealing. They were lodged in the Butler County jail.

A woman reported at 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, she lost her cell phone in the self-checkout area of Walmart Supercenter.

A man reported t 7:22 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 an unidentified male subject fired several shots at him during a confrontation in the 1000 block of Fairmount Street. One round struck a vehicle parked nearby. No injuries were reported.

A Rhodes 101 employee reported at 5:51 a.m. Thursday, June 2, a white male entered the business shouting; poured a fountain soda and threw it on the floor; and began pacing in front of the register. Dustin Burgess, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested, booked on suspicion of a charge of peace disturbance, He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Mica Myrick, 37, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 3:36 p.m. Thursday, June 2, in the 1800 block of North Westwood Blvd. Myrick was booked on Butler County failure to appear warrants on possession of a controlled substance and possession of amphetamine. She was lodged at the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 5:58 p.m. Thursday, June 2, to the 500 block of South C Street to a report of a white male occupant of a passenger vehicle flourishing a gun. The suspect vehicle was stopped, a .32 caliber handgun was seized, and the juvenile occupants were released to their parents. The investigation continues.

A woman reported at 5:53 p.m. Thursday, June 2, two black males in a white Chevrolet Impala vandalized her vehicle and flourished a handgun while she was stopped in traffic on Crestwood Drive at North Westwood Boulevard. At the time of this report. The suspects had not been identified.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters responded at 7:01 a.m. Thursday, June 2, to an alarm system sounding due to a malfunction at Northwest Medical Center, 2210 Barron Road. According to the report, nothing was showing on the alarm panel when firefighters arrived. They walked through the building and found the alarm panel showing normal.

Firefighters responded at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, June 2, to an alarm sounding at Westwood Baptist Academy, 419 County Road 5231. According to the report, the alarm showed a detector activated but they did not find a fire. The alarm head was removed for maintenance. Butler County Fire Department arrived and hook over the scene.

Firefighters responded at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, to a medical assist at KCBOB’S Barber Shop, 2189 N. Westwood Blvd. According to the report, the crew assisted Butler County EMS in lifting a patient off the floor.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Skyyler B. Jones, 32, of Bloomfield was arrested at 4:05 p.m. Thursday, June 2, on suspicion of felony DWI (persistent offender), failure to register a motor vehicle, failure to drive on the right side of the road and no seat belt. He was booked at the Stoddard County jail on a 24-hour hold.
