Sharae Nichole Carter, 34, of Naylor, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at her home surrounded by her children and loving family after an illness with leukemia.
Sharae was born on Feb. 29, 1988 to Billy Joe Carter and Roberta “Birdie” Carter in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Sharae had a love of animals, fishing, music of all kinds, enjoyed spending time outside in nature and the sound of thunderstorms.
Sharae would tell you her greatest accomplishment in life was her three children: son, Kenyon Matthieu Hannah, and daughters, Samar Rene Hannah and Cameron Danielle Hannah. She adored each of them and believed they were the best part of her life.
In addition to her beautiful children, Sharae is survived by her father and mother, Billy and Birdie Carter; sister, Melanie Knoblett and husband, Tom, of St. Louis, Missouri; brother, Chad Carter and wife, Relina, of Greenville, Missouri; nieces, Autumn Carter and Anastasia Knoblett; nephews, Devan, Brendyn and Cullyn Carter and Kendrick Knoblett. Also surviving are her grandmothers, Betty Bass of Corning, Arkansas and Artie Carter of Naylor, Missouri, in addition to numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Sharae was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Kirby Jones and James Carter, and great-grandmother, Opal Calhoun.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Fowler & Sons Funeral Home of Neelyville, Missouri. The funeral will be Thursday. May 26, 2022 starting at 11 a.m. all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home of Neelyville. Burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery with Donnie Fowler officiating.
