Keith D. Caudle, 46, of 1400 block of Black River Industrial Park was arrested at 10:16 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, on a violation of an order of protection.
POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Firefighters responded at 4:47 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, to the intersection of Highway 53 and Highway 142 to a trash can on fire under a pavilion at Whiteley Park near a concession stand. Crews used 10 gallons of water to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters responded to a report of smoke in the area of South Westwood Boulevard near Highway 53 at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 18. They were unable to locate smoke or fire.

Dustin R. Browning, 37, of Poplar Bluff was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, May 18, on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 70-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, on County Road 249, three miles south of Homestown in Pemiscot County.
According to the report, Willie D. Moss, 70, of Ellsinore was operating a 1999 Dodge Dakota northbound when it ran off the right side of the road and overturned.
Moss was taken by ambulance to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital.

Rodney C. Parks, 41, of Wyoming, Michigan was arrested at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, in Dunklin County on suspicion of felony possession of three pills of ecstasy. He was booked at the Dunklin County jail.
