A resident reported Thursday, April 14, that windows had been broken out of her vehicle while it was parked at the Hendrickson boat ramp. The resident reported multiple items were missing and a debit card was stolen. No suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

A resident of the 7000 block of Highway T reported Friday, April 8, than unknown male subjects entered his property who appeared to be casing the area. According to reports, the armed homeowner confronted the males who then drove off. A description of the vehicle was given to officers. The investigation is ongoing.
POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Firefighters were dispatched at 4:14 p.m. April 14 to 908 Mulberry in reference to a trash fire. According to the report, the occupant was informed of city burn codes and fire was extinguished.

Firefighters responded at an alarm at 11:46 p.m. April 14 to smoke in the area of 1112 Maud St. According to the report, no fire was found and the scene was cleared.

Firefighters were dispatched at 12:33 p.m. Friday, April 15, to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Maud and Roxie Rd. According to the report, both vehicles were removed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters were dispatched at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, April 17, to a single vehicle motor vehicle accident at the corner of Vine St. and Broadway. According to the report, the vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck a utility pole. EMS checked driver and Poplar Bluff Police Department notified Municipal Utilities. No injuries reported and the scene was cleared.

Davion C. Sorrell, 22, of Gatewood was arrested at 12:34 a.m. Saturday, April 16, in Ripley County on suspicion of DWI, leaving the scene of a crash and failure to yield to emergency lights. He was booked at the Ripley County jail on a 12-hour hold.

Emma J. Johnson, 57, of Malden was arrested at 11:58 a.m. Saturday, April 16, in Stoddard County on a Dexter Police Department warrant for a traffic violation and on suspicion of failure to maintain financial responsibility. She was booked at the Dexter Police Department.
