Kristi Lynn DeArman, 47, of Malden, Missouri, was ushered into the arms of Jesus Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Poplar Bluff.
Kristi was born Jan. 19, 1975, in Poplar Bluff to Charles and Vickie (Reese) Hefner. She was a member of Southeast Missouri Community Church in Malden and was employed with the Malden R-1 School System. Kristi loved spending time with her family and being involved in her children’s activities.
She married the love of her life James Douglas “Jim” DeArman on Dec. 3, 1994. He survives.
Other survivors include their children, Dylan James DeArman and Allison Victoria DeArman of the home; her mother, Vickie Hefner and brother, Keith (Stephanie) Hefner all of Poplar Bluff; a brother-in-law, Bill (Jeanette) DeArman of Malden; two nieces, Emily (Clayton) Carpenter of Poplar Bluff and India DeArman of Malden; and numerous other family members.
Kristi was preceded in death by her father, Charles Keith Hefner, father and mother-in-law, Gary and Sue DeArman, and grandparents, Z.J. and Evelyn Hefner and Jewell and Glenda Reese.
The visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Mark Pickard officiating and Rev. Steve Francis assisting. Burial will take place at Qulin Cemetery.
