Urologic surgeon, Serge Marinkovic, MD, has joined the medical staff of Regional Physician Services.
“We are fortunate to have Dr. Marinkovic joining PBRMC’s medical staff. Finding urological services close to home has been difficult over the past few years. Adding expert services and a tenured urologist will continue to help us fulfill our mission to get people well and live healthier lives,” said CEO Rick Naegler.
New to town, Marinkovic previously practiced at Gibson City Hospital in Gibson City, Illinois, and Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka, Illinois.
He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and did his urology residency at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. He completed his neuro-urology fellowship at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York and his urogynecology/female urology fellowship at St. George’s Hospital in London, United Kingdom.
Marinkovic will join the practice of Regional Physician Services and will be located at 3098 Oak Grove Road. His areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, female pelvic medicine, reconstructive surgery, robotic surgery in sacrocolpopexy and general urology.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 18-month-old daughter, playing the piano and exploring new places.
