NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Donald Albert Hover, 84, of Harviell, Missouri, passed away at his residence March 10, 2022.
He was born, May 21, 1937, at Butler County, Missouri to the late John and Purma “Morrow” Hover.
On Jan. 6, 1957, he was married to Evelyn Geraldine Murrell at Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Pamela Gail Elders and husband, Danny, and Donald Lynn Hover and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Danielle Robertson and husband, Jason, Justin Hover and wife, Jerilynn, Steven Hover, Megan Owens and husband, Benny; as well as great-grandchildren, Rayne Owens, Kimber Owens, and Jensen Hover; three sisters, Dorothy Atwell, Shirley Payne and Nellie Kirkley; and one brother, Ronald Hover.
He was a member of Harviell Church of Christ. He had worked in the trucking, construction and farming industries. He was a member of the Teamsters (International Brotherhood of Teamster) 1971-1980. He served as treasurer of Kinsey Cemetery and supervisor of 2010 National Census.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, reading and metal working.
Visitation for Mr. Hover will be Monday, March 14, 2022, starting at 6 p.m. with the funeral Tuesday, March 15, 2022, starting at 2 p.m. all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home at Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Kinsey Cemetery with Earl Ladyman officiating.
