Otto Floyd Starkey, 59, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022, at Hannibal Regional Hospital, Hannibal, Missouri. He was born Dec. 25, 1963, in Dunklin County, Missouri, to parents Clayburn Starkey and Wanda (Johnson) Starkey. Otto was a Wayne County resident for many years. He had worked as an industrial cleaner with his father’s company, mostly specializing in restaurant hood cleaning. He was born Dec. 25, 1963, in Dunklin County, Missouri, to parents Clayburn Starkey and Wanda (Johnson) Starkey.

Otto was a Wayne County resident for many years. He had worked as an industrial cleaner with his father’s company, mostly specializing in restaurant hood cleaning. He also worked a lot with Jesse Birmingham and worked at Trinity Lumber Company at Clubb.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, or just anytime outdoors. Spending time with nieces, nephews, and all family was a priority.

He is survived by his brother, Doyl Starkey and wife, Melinda, of Poplar Bluff; sisters: Teresa Dobbins of Corning, Arkansas, and Eunnona Starkey of Poplar Bluff; stepdaughters: Jessica Hook and Beth Yount; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Roy Nunnery and Ronnie Starkey; and sister, Rayetta Huggins.
