Menards in Poplar Bluff has joined its family of stores in serving as a collection site to benefit a local food pantry throughout the month of March.

Menards spokesperson, Jessie O’Mara said the Poplar Bluff store has chosen to collect food to benefit the United Gospel Rescue Mission (UGRM). The UGRM operates a residential program in Poplar Bluff for adult men in crisis. The mission also provides weekly and holiday public meals and offers a variety of Christian based services for families in need.

Menards Corporation is “excited to participate in this wonderful opportunity” to lend a “helping hand” to local communities, said O’Mara.

Donations may be dropped off during normal business hours at the Poplar Bluff Menards, 3105 Oak Grove Road. For information, please contact Jessie O’Mara at 715-876-2593.
