Paula R. Jankowski, 42, of Springfield, Missouri, was booked Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Butler County jail on a capias warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Jason D. Lee, 46, of Poplar Bluff was booked Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of trafficking drugs.

Dakota L. Miller, 25, of Neelyville was booked Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Butler County jail on a capias warrant for possession of a control substance.

Bryce L. Nelson, 25, of Festus, Missouri, was booked Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Butler County jail on a warrant for first-degree trespassing.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters were dispatched at 6:54 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, to a motor vehicle accident at 3525 S. Westwood Blvd. They assisted EMS personnel with packaging one patient and cleared the roadway of debris.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Gregory Thomas, 41, no address listed, was arrested at 8:37 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, on suspicion of first-degree trespass. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Kenneth W. Sweet, 50, no address listed, was arrested at the Mt. Calvary Powerhouse Church at 9:16 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, on suspicion of second-degree burglary and resisting arrest. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 6:57 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, on Business Highway 67, one-half mile south of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, Brandon L. Culbertson, 31, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2009 Chevrolet Impala northbound when it crossed the center of the highway and struck a southbound 2006 Mazda Tribute head-on operated by Tammy L. Sheperd, 48, of Poplar Bluff.

Sheperd sustained minor injuries, while Culbertson sustained moderate injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

At 7:12 p.m., Culbertson was arrested in Butler County on suspicion of DWI, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, no seat belt and no insurance. He was released for medical treatment.
