Terry L. Newcomb, 67, passed in his home near Eldon, Missouri Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021
Paw, as he was affectionately known, was born in St. Charles, Missouri, to Robert E. Newcomb and Dorothy Horne-Newcomb. He is preceded in death by his mom, dad, and one brother, Sonny.
Paw was best described as a cool grandpa, probably because of his love for AC/DC and classic rock. In his younger years he could most likely be found behind the wheel of a tractor or a fishing pole. Paw loved to laugh and quip his signature “oh hell”.
His family was his most prized possession. His wife, sons and daughters, grandkids, and great-grandchildren were his whole world.
Paw is survived by his wife, Mila, of Eldon; brothers, Ray and Jean, of Troy, Missouri, and Richard “Dick” and Geri, of Walcott, Iowa; sisters, Gaytha and Morris Wood, Paducah, Kentucky, and Vicki Maclin; sister-in-law, Ginny Newcomb (Sonny’s wife); two children, Jody and Aimee Newcomb, Wright City, Missouri and Shannon Newcomb-Ferrill, Swansea, Illinois; two stepchildren, Paula and Jack Trout, Columbus, Ohio, and Justin and Amber Newman, Joplin, Missouri; 13 grandchildren, Lexi, Brett, Lena, Mason. Jeremy, Lindsay, Stephen, Dani, Zoe, Chrissy, Tyler, Mila, and Haisley; followed by nine great-grandchildren, Jason, Kahlin, LaKota, Qwade, Kendan, Zamariah, Zion, Dawson and Paisley; as well as countless nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to his family to help during this time of loss.
