Truman Lee Morgan, 90, of Fisk died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at Sunrise of Des Peres, in St. Louis.
Mr. Morgan was born Jan. 2, 1931, in Shook, son of the late Byrd Elvis and Daisy Jane (Ruble) Morgan.
He graduated from Fisk High School and went on to be a lifelong farmer. In 1951, he was drafted to the Army and served in the Korean War.
On April 9, 1952, Truman married Eurma Lou Mattingly, and was a loving husband to her for 69 years. She survives.
He is also survived by one son, Keith (Teresa) Morgan of Fenton, Missouri; one daughter, Vicky (Gary) Weimholt of Jefferson City, Missouri; five grandchildren, Amy (Eric) Hiller, Ali Weimholt, Megan (Jon) Altheuser, Krista Simonds, and Brittany (Devin) Jaggers; six great-grandchildren, Morgan, Madison and Samantha Altheuser, and Corbin Jagger, Otto and Nathanael Hiller; and many siblings-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Stanley Morgan; and his 10 siblings.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Max Mattingly officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley with full military honors.
