Eric W. Hager, 45, of the 5500 block of Highway 67 North was booked Monday, Oct. 18, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of second- and third-degree domestic assault. He later was released.

Anthony A. Roth, 26, of the 1400 block of Black River Industrial Park Road was booked Monday, Oct. 18, at the Butler County jail on a parole violation warrant.

David A. Wise, 31, of Qulin was booked Monday, Oct. 18, at the Butler County jail on a failure to appear warrant for driving while revoked. He later was released.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters responded to a call at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, of a motor vehicle accident on Fair Street. They assisted EMS crews with a patient and cleared the roadway.

Firefighters responded to a call at 8:17 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, of a motor vehicle accident on North Westwood Boulevard. They used an absorbent to clean up the road after the vehicles were removed.

Firefighters responded to a call at 4:19 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, of a single-vehicle accident at 700 Highway 53. They found a vehicle stuck in a ditch and helped control traffic until the scene was cleared.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Brandon A. Sullivan, 19, who listed North 13th Street and Highway AA addresses, was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, in the 700 block of Vine Street on a probation warrant for stealing, a warrant for escape and on suspicion of stealing, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
