Sonia Paulette Griffin, 77, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2021. She was born Nov. 6, 1943 to the late Carl and Clara (Johnson) Griffin of Butler County.
She was born in Butler County and after a life abroad, returned in 2001. She was a retired lab tech. Sonia was an avid reader, regular shopper of the flea markets and enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities.
Sonia is survived by one son, Chester Hardin, Jr of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Paula Beck of House Springs, Missouri; four brothers, John Griffin and Larry Griffin of Poplar Bluff, Otto Griffin of Qulin, MO and Elisha Griffin of Campbell, Missouri; two grandchildren, Dillon and Cody Wilson and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
