Living a healthy life with diabetes can be a daily challenge, but small changes to routines, habits and physical activities will greatly reduce the burden.

Attend a free six-week workshop and discover how to make healthy food choices and plan menus, increase physical activity and exercise safely, prevent or delay diabetes complications, communicate effectively with your health team, and develop action plans to improve your health and wellbeing.

The sessions will take place Thursdays, from 10 a.m. – noon, beginning Thursday, Sept. 30 and ending on Nov. 4, for a total of six sessions. The location for the sessions will be the Butler County MU Extension Office.

There is no cost to attend, but participants must register to secure a spot, as seating is limited.
