Jody L. Brown, 37, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:36 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, in Stoddard County on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no seat belt and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. She was booked at the Stoddard County jail on a 24-hour hold.

Two people were injured in a four-vehicle accident at 7:35 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, on U.S. Highway 67, three miles north of Neelyville.
According to the report, a 17-year-old male of Neelyville was operating a 2010 Ford Expedition southbound when it struck the rear of a southbound 2001 Ford Ranger operated by Michael D. Griffith, 41, of Poplar Bluff, a southbound 2007 Ford Escape operated by James R. Patty, 62, of Neelyville and a southbound 2019 Buick Encore operated by Dana L. Odham, 48, of Neelyville.
Griffith and a passenger in his vehicle, Samantha K. Becker, 34, of Poplar Bluff, both sustained minor injuries and were taken by EMS to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
