Edward M. Allison, 55, of Puxico was booked Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Butler County jail on a warrant for DWI with physical injury.

Foster, 44, of the 600 block of Cleveland was booked Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Butler County jail on a failure to appear warrant for property damage, a capias warrant for threatening dissemination of images, a capias warrant for third-degree assault and a warrant for first-degree harassment.

Thomas A. Sonderman, 25, of the 900 block of Spring Street was booked Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Butler County jail on a warrant for first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

BUTLER COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT

County firefighters responded to a call at 11:44 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Nunne Cemetery off County Road 523. They found a 2013 Arctic Cat UTV, owned by Dusty Miller, on fire. It was totaled.

County firefighters responded to a call of a structure fire at 9:44 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the 99 Sable Lane home of Rose McDowell. Firefighters report the fire damaged the north end of the home and burned through the roof.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Blake A. Mount, 23, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, in Dunklin County on a warrant for felony aggravated assault and on suspicion of failure to register a motor vehicle and no seat belt. He was booked at the Dunklin County jail.

Tyler R. Leonard, 21, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, in Butler County on warrants for felony possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of methamphetamine. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Two men were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:47 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the intersection of Highway 142 and Cravens Road.

According to the report, Ricky R. Weaver, 33, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2008 Dodge southbound when it failed to yield and pulled into the path of a southbound 2006 Pontiac G6 operated by Michael W. Bowen, 50, of Poplar Bluff.

Weaver sustained minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, while Bowen sustained moderate injuries and was taken by EMS to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 56-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, on Highway 67 in St. Francois County.

According to the report, Carlee A. Eifert, 27, of Poplar Bluff was operating 2008 Infiniti QX56 southbound that was following too closely behind a southbound 2012 Chevrolet Malibu operated by Linda B. Besher, 56, of Fredericktown. Eifert allegedly was inattentive to the roadway ahead, resulting in her vehicle striking the rear of Besher’s vehicle.

Besher was transported by St. Francois County Ambulance District to Parkland Health Center — South in Farmington.
