An annual event celebrating history in Wayne County will mark its 30th anniversary this year.
Old Greenville Days will be held Friday, Sept. 17 through Sunday, Sept. 19, according to a press release from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
This free event will be held in the Greenville Day Use Area adjacent to the Greenville Ca.m.pground, just two miles south of Greenville, on U.S. Highway 67. Thosea attending are advised to bring lawn chairs or blankets and check out the festivities, which includes live bluegrass, country, and gospel music, handmade crafts, old time children’s ga.m.es, a performance by Boo Boo the Clown, an interpretive living history, guided tour of Memory Lane, stagecoach rides and more.
