Carolyn Sue Cochran, 80, of White Bluff, Tennessee, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee.
Carolyn was born February 12, 1941, to Grace Groves in Poplar Bluff. She and Gregory Cochran were married in 1999, he survives.
Carolyn was a devoted and loving mother to her children and grandchildren. Carolyn enjoyed shopping and going to flea markets, reading, gardening and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her loving husband, Carolyn is survived by seven children, Christina and Vernon Nabert III of Poplar Bluff, Terry Cochran of Poplar Bluff, Mark Cochran of Poplar Bluff, Tami and Sonny Dubose of Bryan, Texas, Bryan Cochran of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Candace and Ernie Wilkerson of Michigan and Russell Cochran of Hendersonville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Joshua and Carla Cochran of Vincenza, Italy, Sydney and Tyler Vanlandingham of Las Vegas, Nevada, Nicole and Charles Shepard of Doniphan, Zachary Nabert of Poplar Bluff, Jessica Cochran and Paul Cassidy of St. Louis, Jeffrey and Susannah Gatlin of Cyprus, Texas and Christopher and Cassie Gatlin of Houston, Texas and one sibling, Flora Bell and Larry Beck of Poplar Bluff.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother; two sisters, Irma Lee and Groves and Edith Groves and three brothers, Norman Groves, Willis Groves and Junior Groves.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 11 from 11 a.m. until time of service at Cotrell Funeral Service. Funeral service will be at noon at the funeral home with Richard Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Sparkman Cemetery.
