City firefighters responded at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, to a report of a commercial fire alarm at the Black River Coliseum. According to the report, no fire was found and firefighters cleared the scene.

City firefighters responded at 5:59 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, to a report of an unauthorized burn at 1201 N. 5th St. According to the report, crews discovered a small fire burning in a ditch. Crews advised the owner of the city burn ordinance and extinguished the fire using 10 gallons of water.

City firefighters responded at 5:13 p.m. to 2600 N. Westwood to a report of a traffic crash with injuries. According to the report, crews assisted EMS with loading two patients. Floor dry was applied to a transmission spill as a result of the crash. After a wrecker crew arrived and removed a vehicle, firefighters cleaned the roadway and cleared the scene.

City firefighters responded at 5:40 a.m. to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center to a report of a fire alarm. According to the report, no fire was visible. Crews contacted security and entered buildings, but no fire was found and firefighters cleared the scene.
