Steven Wayne Thrasher, 65, of Clarkton, Missouri, passed away March 5, 2021. He was born January 19, 1956 in Poplar Bluff, to the late Ollie Lavern Thrasher and Flossie Mae (Webb) Thrasher.
On October 6, 2003 in Neelyville, he was married to Robin Taylor. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Steven Thrasher and wife, Jasmine of Berryville, Arkansas and Joey Jameson and wife, Casey of Berryville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Searah and Ariah as well as six sisters, Mereda Ezell of Campbell, Missouri, Betty McRoy of Des Arc, Missouri, Brenda Reed of Neelyville, Alta Louise Mallory of Canton, Mississippi, Lou Ellen Thrasher of Clarkton, Missouri and Denise Kellum of Gideon, Missouri and two brothers, Cyrus Edward Thrasher of Moscow Mills, Missouri and John Thrasher of Savannah, Georgia. He is survived by his father-in-law, Sterling Taylor and mother-in-law, Kattie Taylor.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents as well as his siblings, Sue Crum, Ann Stout, Bill Thrasher, Tina Scott and David Thrasher.
He had been a lifelong resident of Naylor and Neelyville had been a truck driver. Steven enjoyed working crafts, hunting, fishing, cooking, traveling gravel roads and telling long stories.
Visitation for Steven will start at 11 a.m. Tuesday March 9 with the funeral following at 1 p.m. at the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville. Burial will be in the Neelyville Cemetery with Pastor Steven Thrasher and Pastor Donnie Fowler officiating.
