Peggy Hutson of Broseley, Missouri passed away at the age of 85.  Peggy worked at Doctors Hospital and the Poplar Bluff School system before retiring to travel with the love of her life Alex.  Peggy was a member of the Palace of Praise and a tribal elder of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She loved to read and work outside in her flowers, but her favorite past time was a good long conversation, as she never met a stranger. ...

Peggy Hutson of Broseley, Missouri passed away at the age of 85. 

Peggy worked at Doctors Hospital and the Poplar Bluff School system before retiring to travel with the love of her life Alex. 

Peggy was a member of the Palace of Praise and a tribal elder of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She loved to read and work outside in her flowers, but her favorite past time was a good long conversation, as she never met a stranger. 

Peggy is survived by her dog, Rosie; children, Kaye (Kenny) Spencer of Poplar Bluff, Larry (Carolyn) Hutson of Greenville, Missouri, Teresa (Ross) Gilmore of Palm City, Florida, Lora Lee Hutson of Ash Grove, Missouri; one brother, Ronnie (Cheryl) Williams of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, Cherish Heydenreich, Kristal Hutson Aldana, Joshua Trout, Emily J Warren; eight great-grandchildren; niece, Barbara Bynum and special friends, Frank and Charlotte Hillis and many more cherished family and friends.  

Peggy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alex; her daughter, Rebecca Cook and her parents, Irven and Hazel Williams. 

Graveside service will be held at Brown Chapel in Broseley, Missouri at a later date. 

We say good-bye knowing they are now at peace.
